See you in September… And October and November… and then there’s the Christmas party in December…
Last time we saw many of you was in May when we partied with The Stampeders, and were enlightened and ignited by Christina Litz, SVP Marketing & Content, CFL. If you missed that party, we are truly sorry. It was an evening to remember. But there is always the autumn!
Now that we have taken a well deserved summer break – well not really, because we have spent a great deal of it listening to you our members, and compiling and decimating this valuable information, and working towards a new trajectory for the Calgary Marketing Association – but we’ll get to that later.
Now that summer is winding down, we are thrilled to tell you about our fall lineup.
Lunch time – Learn from the Best of the Best of the Brand Builders – Join Uwe Stueckmann, SVP Marketing at Loblaw Companies Limited, the man responsible for the Marketing function of Canada’s largest retailer. This man has a world of knowledge to share about creating loyalty in a multi-layered and complex marketing landscape.
A Morning networking and learning session – Spend your morning sitting with CMA Board member David Lui, Vice President, Marketing – Mark’s at Canadian Tire Corporation, and Nasser Sahlool, Vice President, Client Strategy at DAC Group. Enjoy breakfast, do some networking, then share information and better yet, garner information from two marketers at the top of their field. This event is targeted towards senior management and decision makers and space is very limited.
Lunch time – What better way to spend your lunch than at the Calgary Zoo – in fact, why not take the afternoon off?! Meet the Zoo’s key Marketing and Communication representatives as they walk us through their lessons learned from Canada 150 and the Land of the Lemurs campaigns, and how they will apply multi level-marketing to truly enhance the experience of the soon to arrive Panda exhibit.
Kick your Christmas Season into full celebration mode at our annual CMA Christmas Bash. Back by popular demand, we are merrymaking at Rodney’s Oyster House, and because this is about networking as well as partying, we have all kinds of options for you. Come alone and meet new friends, or bring your friends and colleagues. We have three Sponsorship options that are tailored to suite your unique needs.
We have amazing recipes cooking for Marketing Fun, and Success this fall, and in 2018. So, come to our events, visit our website, and if you aren’t already, become a member – because more and more, The Calgary Marketing Association is the hub for Calgary’s vibrant marketing community.
