You will use your expertise to:
Develop and implement annual marketing plan for each partner based on aligned objectives, jointly with partner(s) and internally with our Petro-Points team, including revenue forecast, budget and resources requirements.
Manage the contractual obligations within the partnership and lead in the negotiations of new terms at required times
Manage partner P&L (Profit & Losses) and related budgets
Recognize risks and opportunities based on customer insights, industry and loyalty trends and recommend appropriate business strategies
Work closely with our Petro-Points, Communications and Analytics Teams, to develop strategically sound, member focused programs and initiatives including mass (onsite and digital) and 1:1 personalized marketing campaigns to meet mutually-agreed partnership objectives
Ensure the delivery of post-analysis of marketing programs, including key insights as a foundation for future partner programs
Work with our Financial & Operations Teams to provide regular financial and performance reporting for all partners in your portfolio
Conduct invoicing and currency reconciliation investigations where required
Develop positive relationships with our partners and become their trusted advisor
Craft collaborative, trusting relationships with the supporting departments and functions

Must-haves (minimum requirements):
Four years experience in a client or partner-facing, relationship management or business development role with a real passion for providing value to partners
Four years of contract and vendor oversight. Vendor selection and contract negotiation
Three in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), loyalty or strategic consulting experience
Proven influence and negotiating skills with the ability to gain commitment and support for your ideas and recommendations while developing relationships at both the working and senior management levels with partner organizations
Superior interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Keen financial acumen and analytical by nature
Demonstrated ability to lead change, manage stakeholders effectively and display non-authoritative leadership skills
Dynamic self-starter skills and thrive working in a fast-paced environment, and an exceptional collaborator
Experience in navigating and simplifying complexity with the ability to bring emotional intelligence and curiosity into one’s work
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or finance, or a combination of education and related work experience
Loyalty program marketing experience is preferred with negotiation and business development exposure
Working knowledge of marketing analytics, marketing automation and/or customer experience management platforms
Experience with significant P&L management
Large-scale strategic partnership responsibility and/or management of a portfolio of multiple, varied partners
Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:
You will work primarily out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W., with some flexibility to work from home occasionally based on future guidelines
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
