Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Digital and Social Media
Manager will be primarily responsible for providing vision and voice across the agency’s
digital and social media channels. The position will be responsible for working with internal
clients to translate EEA’s marketing, communications and engagement strategies into a
digital/social strategy. Working with external stakeholders, the incumbent will provide
direction and oversight for the agency’s website and SEO / SEM.

The Digital and Social Media Manager will develop editorial content schedules, digital/social
policies and procedures, social monitoring tools, and analytics reporting. This position will
set up and edit/post to the agency’s social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Facebook,
Twitter, YouTube, Google Business listing, etc. In addition, the position will plan and
execute digital marketing campaigns and monitoring associated budgets, often in
conjunction with external program implementers (Google AdWords, Facebook advertising,
LinkedIn Sponsored content, etc.).

To be successful in this role, the position will utilize creativity to determine how to best
present results and messaging to ensure participation, understanding and acceptance.
Excellent time-management skills will be exercised in order to manage project and meet
tight deadlines. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to write for a
variety of audiences using a variety of voices and tones is imperative.


Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Arts or a related degree is
required. A minimum of five years working in digital and/or social media marketing. A strong
track record of developing and implementing successful digital/social strategy is required.
Solid knowledge and understanding of social and digital media campaigns is required.
Knowledge and experience using Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads,
Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Sponsored Content, and associated Insight/Analytic tools is required.
Strong understanding of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and
Instagram) – plus a curiosity for emerging platforms is essential.
