The Story of Mr. COVID
March 9 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm MST$20
Nine months into the unrelenting COVID-19 pandemic, research studies showed that public trust and adherence to public health messaging was eroding. It’s not a surprise. We were all fatigued by the communications around COVID-19 and the restrictions that came along with them. But when the Government of Alberta saw compliance dropping and cases rising, it knew that a different communications approach was necessary to break through to younger Albertans and change their attitudes and behaviour toward public gatherings.
In December, the Government of Alberta launched the Covid Loves campaign. The development of the campaign was a collaborative effort between the Communications team and Public Engagement creative teams, and their agency partner, ZGM Modern Marketing Partners. Timelines were tight. Information was constantly evolving. And approval levels went right up to the Dr. Hinshaw and Premier Kenney.
Join Kurt Beaudoin of ZGM and Neil Simonton of the Government of Alberta as they take us through the journey of this Behaviour Change Campaign from conception to rollout.
Key Takeaways from this webinar will include:
- Collaboration strategies between your internal marketing team and your external agency partner
- Behaviour change campaigns targeted to millennials
- Getting great creative approved
- Bringing one idea to life in an omnichannel world
