Building Better Ads with Facebook Special Ad Categories
June 15 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm MDT$20
Navigating the New Classification!
At the end of 2020, Facebook introduced a Special Ads Category. This new classification of ads linked to housing, social or political issues, employment, and credit was created to help enforce Facebook’s policies against discriminatory practices in advertising.
Almost six months in and questions are still circulating about what this is, what it means, and how to use it… And we want to answer your questions…
Join Jen McDonnell, VP of Content and Social Media at Reshift Media, as she takes us through what the Special Ad Category really consists of, provides insight on what to select (because it’s an option that you absolutely must select when you’re creating your ads) and why, and explains some of the consequences of avoiding the special ad category should you choose that route.
This webinar is for anyone who wants to continue to have effective ads in marketing their business and especially for those working in any of these four categories: Social issues, elections or politics, (yes, that’s one category), Credit Opportunities, and Employment and Housing.
With Jen’s guidance we will address:
- Understanding Facebook Ad Categories
- How to create a viable special ad audience
- How to retarget using special ad audience
- How to create scroll stopping ads in a less targeted digital world with special ad categories
